The Creative Class Awards recognizes extraordinary creatives of color across industries — entrepreneurship, entertainment & the arts, fashion & beauty, health & wellness, and social good. The Creative Collective tapped To Be Hosted to turn the annual list into an awards celebration and dinner. We loved working on this event because we were challenged with taking a "futuristic" approach to the design, while tying in details that would reflect the "class" theme.

We approached this event with afro-futurism at the center of the creative process. We juxtaposed black with pops of color reminiscent of the aurora lights, and boldly illuminated details throughout. The experience included dinner and programming, ice-breaker “superlatives” and “yearbook signing day” inspired wall for guests to leave their mark on the event.
